Indahnya Sebuah Persahabatan
Betapa menyenangkannya menjadi orang kaya. Hidup serba berkecukupan. Apapun yang diinginkan akan terpenuhi. Karena semua sudah tersedia. Seperti halnya Tiyas. Seorang anak orang kaya yang menjadi banyak sorotan, Berangkan dan pulang selalu diantar oleh supir pribadi dan mobil mewahnya.
Meskipun bergelimang harta tiyas tidaklah menyombongkan diri. Tidak kalah dengan Tiyas, Orang tua Tiyas juga merupakan orang yang baik dan ramah, Tidak berpatokan pada harta dalam bergaul dan tidak membeda-bedakan orang disekelilingnya. Kawan-kawan Tiyas sangat suka dan betah berlama-lama di rumah Tiyas karena mereka selalu disambut ramah dan diperlakukan seperti keluarga sendiri oleh keluarga Tiyas.
Tiyas memiliki seorang sahabat yang sangat setia menemaninya dalam menghadapi lika liku kehidupan. Tidak jauh dari rumahnya Dwi sahabat tiyas tinggal di kampung dekat rumah Tiyas, hanya saja dipisahkan oleh RT saja. Namun sudah hampir dua minggu Dwi tidak mengunjungi Tiyas di rumahnya. “Hmmm Dwi kemana ya mah, Biasanya hampir setiap hari Dwi main kesini. Tapi ini sudah hampir lewat dua minggu Dwi tidak datang lagi.” Ujar Tiyas. “Mungkin Dwi sedang sakit!” jawab Mama Tiyas. “Ih, iya juga ya mah, siapa tahu memang Dwi lagi sakit. Kalo begitu nanti sore Tiyas mau menengoknya” katanya dengan penuh semangat.
Sudah lima kali Tiyas mengetuk pintu rumah Dwi. Karena menunggu lama tidak kunjung dibuka akhirnya Tiyas memberanikan diri untuk bertanya kepada tetangga tentang menghilangnya Dwi. Benar saja, Ternyata sudah dua minggu Dwi ikut orang tuanya pulang ke desa. Sebab ayahnya habis kena PHK. Akhirnya keluarga Dwi memutuskan untuk kembali ke desa dan memilih menjadi petani.
“Oh, kasihan sekali Dwi,” ujarnya didalam hati,
Di rumahnya, Tyas tampak melamun sambil memikirkan nasib sahabat setianya itu.
“Ada apa Yas? Kok kamu nggak seperti biasanya, malah tampak lesu dan kurang semangat.” Papa bertanya sambil menegur.
“Dwi, Pa.” Jawab Tiyas
“Memangnya ada apa dengan Dwi sehingga membuatmu muram, Apa dia sedang sakit?” Tyas menggeleng kepada ayah.
“Lantas kenapa?” Papa menjadi penasaran.
“Sekarang Dwi sudah pindah rumah. Kata tetangga sebelah rumahnya Dwi ikut orang tuanya pulang ke desa. Kabarnya bapaknya habis di PHK dan memilih untuk menjadi petani”.
Sambil menatap Tiyas papa termenung memikirkan ucapan tiyas dengan rasa setengah tidak percaya.
“Kalau Papa tidak langsung percaya, Coba tanya deh, sama Pak RT atau ke tetangga lain” ujarnya.
“Lalu apa rencana kamu?”
“Aku harap Papa bisa menolong Dwi!”
“Maksudmu?”
“Aku pengen Dwi bisa disini lagi” Tyas memohon dengan agak mendesak.
“Baik kalau itu bisa biki kamu seneng. Tapi, kamu harus bisa mencari alamat rumah Dwi yang di desa” kata Papa.
Berkat bantuan pemilik kontrakan bekas rumah Dwi akhirnya tiga hari kemudian Tiyas berhasil memperoleh alamat rumah Dwi yang berada di desa. Ia merasa sangat senang. Kemudian Papa bersama dengan Tiyas datang ke rumah Dwi di sebuah desa terpencil dan lokasi rumahnya masih masuk ke dalam lagi. Bisa di tempuh dengan jalan kaki dua kilometer. Kedatangan kami disambut orang tua Dwi dan Dwi sendiri. Betapa gembira hati Dwi ketika bertemu dengan Tiyas. Mereka berpelukan cukup lama untuk melepas rasa rindu. pada awalnya Dwi sangat kaget dengan kedatangan Tiyas secara tiba-tiba.
“Maaf ya Yas. Aku tak sempat memberi kabar ke kamu kalo aku mau pindah”
“Ah, tidak apa-apa. Yang penting aku sudah ketemu kamu dan merasa senang.”
Setelah berbincang cukup lama, Papa menjelaskan tujuan kedatangan mereka kepada orang tua Dwi. Ternyata orang tua Dwi tidak keberatan, mereka menyerahkan segala keputusan kepada Dwi sendiri.
“Begini, Wik, kedatangan kami kemari, ingin mengajak kamu untuk ikut kami ke Surabaya. Kami menganggap kamu itu sudah seperti keluarga kami sendiri. Gimana Wi, apakah kamu bersedia ikut?” Tanya Papa.
“Soal sekolahmu,” lanjut Papa, “kamu nggak usah khawatir. Sseluruh biaya pendidikanmu biar papa yang menanggung.”
“Baiklah kalau memang Bapak dan Tiyas menghendaki saya ikut, saya mau pak. Saya juga mengucapkan banyak terima kasih atas kebaikan Bapak yang mau membantu saya dan keluarga saya.”
Kemudian Tiyas bangkit dari tempat duduk lalu mendekat memeluk Dwi. Tampak mata Tyas berkaca-kaca tidak kuat menahan kebahagiaan. Kini Dwi tinggal di rumah Tiyas. Sementara orang tuanya tetap tinggal di desa. Selain untuk mengerjakan sawah, mereka juga merawat nenek Dwi yang sudah semakin tua.

Indonesian Cultural Existence almost Disappears in its Own Home
Indonesia is a country that has various cultures. This culture diversity occurs because Indonesia country consists of hundreds of islands where each island has its own culture. However, currently Indonesian culture is in danger of being lost because eroded by the times. There are so many factor that make Indonesia’s culture is in danger. Those factors are from inside and outside. Through this paper, the authors will describe those factors that cause the endangerment of native Indonesian culture. Here are two paragraphs that discussing those factors:
The first is factor from inside. The decreasing of Indonesia’s culture existence in its own home is caused by its own people that ignore their culture especially for teenagers. They are lulled by modern life and started to forget the values which is inherited by their ancestors. For example, local languages, cultural ceremony, customs and Indonesian traditions have been lost in society. Now, we could see no one wants to use local language because they are embarrassed called plebeian. Besides the teenagers who do not care anymore with the culture, government also less responsive in dealing with this problem. There is no real attempt from government to sustain Indonesians culture.
The second is external factors. The Rapid flow of information which comes to Indonesia also effects the erosion of Indonesian culture. Many foreign cultures, especially Western cultures have come and grew in Indonesia. Those western cultures are incompatible with the Indonesians values as eastern nations. It also gives bad effect in Indonesian’s norm as eastern nation. Nowadays, we can see the fashions of clothing that does not conform to the norms, habits drunk, and poor lifestyle has grown in Indonesia.
In short, the reduction of Indonesian culture existence in his own country as a result of several factors. They are inside and outside factors. For maintaining the continuity of Indonesia’s Culture, let us keep our own culture. Especially we as young people do not feel embarrassed to preserve our culture and also stem western cultures which come into our country. If we have lost our original culture means we have lost our own national identity.
